ABOUT HEATHER LEWIS
Heather Lewis is a fourth-generation Idahoan, combat veteran, healthcare provider, and mother running for the Idaho House of Representatives in District 8.
Raised in Boise and a graduate of Capitol High School, Heather grew up learning the values that define Idaho—hard work, service, independence, and responsibility to community. After earning her degree from the University of Idaho, she enlisted in the Idaho National Guard as a combat medic and later deployed to Iraq with the 116th Brigade Combat Team. That experience deepened her belief in liberty, democracy, and the responsibility of leaders to serve the people they represent.
After returning home, Heather built a career in healthcare as a Physician Assistant, serving patients in emergency medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, and neurological rehabilitation. She now lives in Valley County, where she has spent the last five and a half years raising her family, volunteering in local schools, supporting community events, and teaching future healthcare providers as adjunct faculty at Idaho State University.
Heather is running for office because she believes public service should be guided by duty, integrity, and independent judgment—not ideology, special interests, or out-of-state money. She is committed to strengthening rural public schools, protecting access to healthcare, responsibly managing public lands, and ensuring Idaho’s growth does not come at the expense of working families or local communities.
Grounded in Idaho values and driven by service, Heather Lewis is running to represent District 8 with honesty, compassion, and common sense.
